Dining Venues

Sonoma State University offers three distinct dining venues, each perfect for a range of events, including corporate lunches, business meetings, cocktail parties, casual receptions, birthday and anniversary parties, private lunches or dinners, and engagement or rehearsal dinner parties and weddings. 

Lobo's

Lobo’s is a campus pub that includes a large bar with an open dining room and an outdoor patio with heaters. Lobo's is located on the first floor of the Student Center. Seating includes low tables, community-style high tables, bar, and patio seating. Lobo's includes a pool table and several TVs located throughout the contemporary space.

Lobo's can seat up to 120 guests.  

 

Overlook

Overlook is the perfect place to host an intimate and upscale dinner or reception. Enjoy picturesque views of campus while overlooking the redwood trees through the large windows and a patio. Overlook is located on the third floor of the Student Center.

Mixed style seating includes banquette, natural wood tables, and a tall community-style table. Overlook can seat up to 90 guests.

In addition, Overlook has a private dining room called the Appellations Room, which can seat up to 10 guests. 

 

Prelude Restaurant & Bar 

Prelude Restaurant and Bar is an elegant dining space combining sophistication and understated elegance. Whether you're entertaining guests, planning a wedding, retirement, anniversary, or holiday party, or just looking for a place to host an event, our Prelude Restaurant and Bar at the Green Music Center is the perfect location for your next occasion.

Prelude Restaurant and Bar has a multitude of spaces including both indoor and patio seating. Indoor dining can accommodate up to 114 guests for dining or 194 for a reception and the patio can accommodate 80 guests for dining or 124 for a reception.

Say “I do” at SSU at our adjacent Wedding Lawn, which is the perfect wedding location with space to seat up to 200 guests.
